Major Project Research - A deep dive into Photoshop

This week I will be conducting a further research into compositing techniques in Adobe Photoshop.

I will be following the tutorial made by PiXimperfect and later I will attempt to create a photo composition entirely on my own.

The process of creating this photo can be viewed below, as well as the before/after photos.

Based on the tutorial:
Another photo composition created in the similar way from images from Unsplash.com:

I am happy with the results. They are not perfect, but as for the first time they are quite pleasant. I still have problems with the correct shadow placement, but other then that I am proud of these pieces. I have also spent too much time on the man's face in the last photo. I wanted to add the red glare on his face, which was more difficult than I expected.

  1. You have called this a deep dive - I would say a quick dip of your toe is more accurate! You have not really told me much here and you need to add much more commentary and detail - Never over-promise and then under deliver!
