Major project - Visual language development (in class work)

Since I have made a post on my idea development in which I presented sketches and I have written about every photo I will took three weeks ago, I decided to spend the time given on researching a brief follow up to my research about the David Fincher's colour palette.

During the time given I have watched a tutorial on how to copy the colour palette from any movie. You can view the tutorial below.

I followed this tutorial step by step and colour graded this photo.

I shot this photo specifically because it shows all of the primary colours.

I chose this frame from 'The Social Network' as a reference.

This is the photo colour corrected according to the tutorial.

I am happy with the outcome. After successfully following the above mentioned tutorial, now I know that my final photos will have the exact colours I had in mind.

  1. Okay I am not sure about this green palette, but you say that this is what you had in mind, I think further examples and development will help explain this, I am looking forward now to the development and process of your project

  2. This is a good tutorial video. I might also use it in my future work. I would probably ass a couple of screenshots to show my process and stages.
