Major Project TERM II - Final Sketches
In this post I will present the final sketches based on which I will be crating final photographs in the following weeks. Each sketch was prepared with composition in mind, and were coloured in order to be easier to read. Final photographs will be black and white and will be shot on black background.
I. Memories
In this photograph I will be using digital techniques of compositing in order to create an infinite, fractal like, sequence to photographs in photographs in order to visualise the fleeting of memories, with each and every photo one more part of my body is being erased from the photograph.
II. Ageing
This photograph will be created by mixing multiple exposure portrait with experimental method of neural filters in Adobe Photoshop. In order to create such photograph I will either scan a photo from my past, then take a photo of myself now and using neural filters I will age myself, or I will use neural filters to both rejuvenate and age myself. The sketch is in landscape, however I will try to create the final photograph in portrait orientation in order to avoid the mistake from last term of leaving one photograph in different orientation.
III. Thoughts.
This photograph will be created entirely with in-camera techniques. It will be a long exposure portrait visualising the rush of thoughts.
IV. Dreaming
Another photograph created using digital tools, this time I will composite myself as if I was levitating and dreaming. I am unsure if I will include a bed in the photograph, since it might make the whole composition too busy. I want to include the ray of light shining from above, I will probably create it similarly to how I created the fake computer screen light last term with my photograph 'The Essay'.
V. Death
This will be a normal multiple exposure portrait with which I want to create a ghost like effect of a soul leaving my body.
VI. Emotions
As presented in previous post I will visualise many emotions in one photograph using multiple exposure photography. If my photographs will be not precise enough I will fix them in photoshop, however my purpose in this photograph is to create it in camera.
With these sketches I have the general idea of how the images will look and I am ready to shoot and edit these photographs.

Love the compositional sketches - really great work
