Major Project TERM III - Writing a script [updated 06.05]

According to plan, this week I started by writing first draft of the script.

As of now, the script has four pages which roughly translates into a four minute film. I am happy with this length, however I would not mind if it would be a minute longer.

Initially I had in mind a horror comedy style film, however as the script went on I realised that it is closer to light comedy thriller.

There are still some problems I have with this script, I still don't know if it will be clear enough that other characters with this film are the clones of the original character. I also am not set on some of the jokes I implemented in the film.

I am also  a little concerned about the structure of the film. It is difficult to create three even acts in a such short runtime. Judging from the script, the second act takes up the most of the film, which is good, however I am not sure if the third act is not too short.

It is of course only the first draft, so all of those problems will be resolved in the future renditions.

Script written in Fade in software.

This post will be updated with new drafts in the future.

I rewrote a few scenes and added a few exposition shots for new locations. Now the choice of shop location should be less confusing and random.

I rewrote the park scenes to skatepark ones. This is the final draft based on which I will draw storyboards.
